Baseball & Sport Caps
The baseball cap is the ultimate style for comfort and casual settings. At hats.com, we understand that all baseball caps are not created equal. While some folks like to support their favorite MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, or NCAA teams, others would rather sport a baseball cap with a little more fashion edge. hats.com has a large selection of hats from brands like New Era if you're looking for headwear that shows off your professional or college team spirit. Brands like Kaminski XY, Bailey of Hollywood, and Kangol use details like striking colors and great paneled designs to inject unique style into the standard baseball shape. Kangol even has an awesome line called the Championship series that uses team color schemes on fashionable caps, enabling fans to get a more refined look while still showing their loyalty.
We also have quality sport and outdoor caps that are great for activities like hiking, hunting, and fishing!
Generally considered a warm weather style, boaters are a classic flat top straw hat with a stiff brim and crown. Popular in the early 20th century, boaters are making a comeback with added modern elements and creative patterns. Also traditionally known as a basher, a skimmer, or a barbershop quartet hat, boaters evoke images of sharp-dressed formal men like the Great Gatsby and Buster Keaton.
Over seventy-five years ago, in a remote corner of Northwest England, Kangol was born. Founder Jaques Spreiregen created the name by combining the K from knitting, the ANG from angora, and the OL from wool as we specialised in knitted hats made from those yarns. To celebrate our anniversary, we introduce a special collection of styles representing different eras and featuring heritage styling details such as the original Knitting Needle Logo as well as a new woven tip inspired by the original military tip design. The style numbers represent the year each shape was invented: The Spitfire 1938; The 504 Cap 1954; The Casual 1983; and the 575 Cap 2013. The hats are knit in luxurious summer worsted weight wool, traditionally used in fine suiting material.
